FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For in-depth answers to your Mobile IV Drip Questions, feel free to contact us here and we’ll give you peace of mind.
It depends on the individual. Most appointments run from 45 minutes to 60 minutes, allowing time for an initial consultation and documentation as well as any questions you may have about the infusion.
Yes. If you are looking to book for a group, please contact us at hello@mobileivdrip.com.au to discuss.
At the initial consultation, we will discuss what you are looking to get out of the infusion and with the support of our doctors we can set up a schedule that is suited to your needs and budget.
Yes. You must be over the age of 18.
With the support of your obstetrician it is possible to have an infusion whilst pregnant. You would need to consult with them prior to booking and allow our nurses to make contact prior to the infusion taking place.
Our registered nurses come to you at your home/hotel/office or business. All infusions are administered under an order from one of our doctors. Our nurse will then monitor you during the infusion to ensure your safety and comfort and answer any questions you have about the infusion.
You might feel some instant effects; depending on the infusion you choose. Most of our clients report feeling the effects within hours, the next day and over the following weeks.
Yes. As the name suggests, IV (intravenous) involves the insertion of a cannula into the vein allowing for fluids and vitamins to be administered directly into the bloodstream. A needle is used to place the cannula and then removed leaving a plastic tubing which will be monitored throughout the infusion and removed once the infusion is completed.
It is not recommended to do any sort of strenuous activity involving the arm that you have received the infusion via.
There is a chance of bruising with any invasive procedure. Our nurses will do everything they can to minimise this and will provide you with ways to minimise the chances.
